Peter Wayne Golden BaM Award®

Andrew Jones Young Person of the Year
This award is named in memory of IABM friend and colleague Andrew Jones who we sadly lost in 2019. Andrew was IABM’s Head of Training and played a vital part in the development of our educational initiatives and fostering the next generation of talented people for our industry. The award recognizes someone new to the industry (under 25 years old) for their hard work, diligence and potential.
Technology Leader of the Year
This award recognizes a person who is at the forefront of disruption and innovation within the Broadcast and Media industry who, through inspired leadership, has helped to deliver ground-breaking technology with business benefits.
Broadcast/Media Company of the Year
This award recognizes and rewards broadcasters or media companies that have demonstrated throughout the year that they are at the forefront of creating and distributing ground-breaking content through innovation across the content chain. MediaTech suppliers are urged to nominate their customers for this award.
Environmental Sustainability
Like every industry, Broadcast and Media is accountable for its effects on our beautiful but fragile planet. But as companies increasingly label themselves “eco-friendly,” it can be tricky to identify the companies that are truly so and those that are merely jumping on the environmental bandwagon for “green-washing.” This award recognizes companies that have made tangible strides in improving their and/or their customers’ impact on the environment.
Community Impact Award
The Community Impact Award celebrates a MediaTech company and/or its products or services that have made a significant impact for the greater good in a niche, local or global community outside of the M&E Industry.
M&E Mentoring Award
This award recognizes a company, group, or person that has made an impact and been an inspiration in the lives of new people into the M&E Industry. They have assisted with knowledge by sharing wisdom and skills, offering brainstorming and a sounding board, helping mentees develop a professional network, and provided a perspective for career/work strategies and growth options.
IABM Member Partnering Award
This award recognizes IABM member companies in all membership levels that have partnered together to stimulate successful collaborative innovation and growth within the M&E industry.
Most Supportive IABM Member Award
As a trade association, it’s the members that make the difference. This award recognizes the member which has offered the most support to the IABM and the wider membership throughout the year. This support can come in many forms including (but not limited to) supporting at trade shows, webinars, contributing positively to research activities, working groups, articles, member education etc.
Global Engaged Partner of the Year
IABM Global Engaged Partners (GEPs) are an exclusive group of MediaTech end-users who share insight, experiences, and contribute to positive industry conversations with IABM, fostering partnerships, collaborations and synergies, providing research insights. This award recognises an outstanding contribution across all these activities by a GEP.
New Member of the Year
Open to members of IABM who have joined within the last year, this award seeks to recognize a new member who has made a significant contribution within the M&E industry.
Start-up Member of the Year
