IABM at IBC 2023 – supporting members and helping them do better business

IABM is pulling out all the stops at IBC Show to help its members do better business. Our member lounge is in a new, central location in the Europa Foyer and is also home to IABM TV and bookable meeting rooms. IABM has big news of its own with the launch of the MediaTech Vantage™ interactive business intelligence platform and unique MediaTech Market Sizing™ service.

The new MediaTech Vantage™ platform is a very smart development that brings together every IABM business intelligence report and asset under an intuitive user interface. Users can search, filter and tag, and build their own custom report quickly and easily. We think MediaTech Vantage™ will be a game-changer for IABM member companies. MediaTech Vantage™ is open to all staff in all IABM member companies. They have free access to IABM’s entire resource of MediaTech business intelligence, trends and data.

MediaTech Market Sizing™ service, structured according to the BaM Content Chain® taxonomy, give detailed, application-specific data right down to product level. With prices to members starting at just US$1300, authoritative market and growth potential information essential for budgeting and planning is now within the reach of every company.  Based on regularly-updated and accurate market data provided by IABM’s partner Caretta Research, each report not only includes the market-sizing data itself together with forecasts, but also detailed insight and analysis by the IABM Business Intelligence team, giving meaning to the numbers and adding real value.  The IABM Business Intelligence team will be running regular demos of both throughout the show. Members can attend demos of both Vantage™ and Market Sizing™ at IABM’s stand 8.F54 at 11am and 3pm every day.

The IABM Member Lounge is in a new, more central location this year – alongside Hall 2 in the Europa Foyer. As well as providing plenty of seated space where members can have meetings with customers and catch up with emails – and each other – it is also home to IABM TV and the pre-bookable meeting rooms, both of which, as always, have proved very popular with members this year.

IABM is opening the IBC Conference with its State of the Industry session at 9.30am on Friday 15 September in the Forum. This is the ideal scene-setter to help attendees make their visit to the show as productive as possible: we will be examining all the main drivers in the MediaTech industry. Delegates will also be able to download our State of MediaTech special report – a must-read for all IBC attendees. IABM members and conference attendees can register here

IABM will also be announcing the winners of the IBC edition of its BaM AwardsTM at a member reception and ceremony on Saturday 16 September (6pm, Forum). The BaM Awards® recognize outstanding technological innovations that deliver real business and creative benefits. The BaMs® are the only truly independent technology awards in the industry, and are widely recognized as the gold standard for rewarding Broadcast and Media innovation. IABM members and shortlisted finalists can register to attend here.

“As ever, IABM is going all-out to support its members at IBC 2023,” said Lucinda Meek, CFOO at IABM. “The whole IABM team will be in attendance and is looking forward to connecting with and supporting as many members as possible throughout the four days of the show – as well as reporting to the wider industry on the current state of play and where the industry is heading next.”
