KitPlus Show, MediaCityUK: KitPlus, the leading broadcast and professional AV and media company, is proud to announce the 10th annual KitPlus Show at MediaCityUK on 6th July 2021. After over a year of postponed and cancelled in-person tradeshows, this regional event offers the media and entertainment technology industry a safe, secure and relaxed environment in which to reconnect face-to-face.
The KitPlus Show was first created in 2012 with regional, one-day tradeshows which to date have covered media hubs including Glasgow, Belfast, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol, London (Shoreditch) and Manchester (Salford). These events are popular with exhibitors as they offer an easy route to access a demographic that might not otherwise travel to a European or capital city events. Typically attracting between 30-50 exhibitors the events are free for visitors to attend and offer a great opportunity for getting up close to the kit you may be about to invest in, and for manufacturers to understand the issues and challenges professionals are trying to overcome with technology.
This year, KitPlus has worked closely with MediaCityUK to ensure that the event is held within England’s current Covid rules and guidelines and has been approved by Salford City Council Safety Action Group with comprehensive precautions and safety measures in place – it is not dependent on any relaxation of restrictions.
Marc Wilson, MD of Glensound, commented “As Glensound is an audio design company, KitPlus is not an obvious first choice of show for us. However, audio plays a significant part in all TV and film production. The KitPlus Show allows us to contact the video customers that are interested in new technologies in audio, and show them how the Glensound designs can help them make their audio workflow simpler and more cost effective. The customers that we have met via KitPlus Show tend to be new to us and have stayed as regular customers ever since.”
Simon Tillyer, KitPlus, remarked “We’re very proud of the KitPlus Show format. It works really well keeping the cost down for exhibitors with no expensive shell schemes, kit transport is arranged for them and we’ll even arrange their hotels. The visitor feedback from every event is very similar with a real appreciation that exhibitors have taken the time and made the investment in coming to the regions rather than the other way around. It’s a beneficial and enjoyable experience for everyone that we look forward to every year. We can’t wait to get to Salford on 6th July for a safe and valuable event”.
Not only are there exhibitors with the latest kit to take a look at, but a full day of seminars and training sessions for visitors to attend, all free and of course, lots of networking to be done. The upcoming event on 6th July will, for the first time, have outdoor exhibit areas, an undercover outdoor café area together with plenty of fresh air and space to ensure that exhibitors and visitors can relax and enjoy a safe and secure in person networking experience.
Registration is now open and the latest information can be found at www.kitplusshow.co.uk.
