New Etere HTML5 Player Built for HTTPS Protocol Provides a Better Performance
Fri 04, 09 2020
Etere releases a more efficient, secure and optimised HTML5 Player designed for HTTPS protocol. Now, Etere also includes the use of HTTPS for its intranet services.
Etere HTML5 player gets a performance and security boost with a new release that is optimised for HTTPS protocol. The upgrade which provides a more efficient performance, faster speeds and better security is available free for all Etere users with a valid support contract. Moving forward, the use of HTTPS is also mandatory for all Etere intranet services to leverage the benefits of secure encryption, better performance and faster speeds.
HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure) provides a wide range of benefits. These include enhanced security with SSL/TLS encryption, authentication and data integrity. The HTTPS protocol makes it possible for web users to transmit sensitive data securely over the internet as the data is encrypted. It prevents man-in-the-middle attacks that can compromise insecure networks and helps to protect the privacy of users.
Another key benefit of the new Etere upgrade is a more efficient performance and faster speeds. With HTTPS protocol, a browser and server can request and receive multiple web elements through a single connection. As a result, latency is significantly minimised and the loading speed is faster.
Etere HTML5 player can be accessed via the EtereWeb platform. It is designed with all the features needed for a professional browsing experience on the web. Etere HTML5 player supports faster speeds with lower CPU usage as data from webpages can be stored locally on the client and operate offline. In addition, it features a very stable performance and full compatibility with all web browsers.
