Object Matrix and Arvato Systems Integrate VPMS EditMade and MatrixStore

Mon 25, 11 2019

Access, Manage, Browse, Edit from Digital Archives

Cardiff, UK, and Cologne, Germany, 21st November 2019Object Matrix and Arvato Systems have partnered to enable media companies to instantly access, manage, browse, and edit clips from their digital archives. The companies will discuss the integration in a webinar on 11th December.

Using Arvato’s powerful production asset management platform, VPMS EditMate and the media focused object storage solution from Object Matrix, MatrixStore, organisations can drastically reduce the time needed to manage media workflows, while making content easily discoverable. The integration makes it easier than ever to unlock assets held in archive, enable creative collaboration, and monetise archived assets.

MatrixStore is the media focused private and hybrid cloud storage platform that provides instant access to all media assets. Built upon object-based storage technology, MatrixStore provides digital content governance through an integrated and automated storage platform supporting multiple media-based workflows whilst providing a secure and scalable solution.

Stefan Eckardt, Head of Portfolio Management, Arvato Systems, commented: “Media companies are challenged with vast archives that can often be almost impossible to navigate, and therefore monetise. Having worked with Object Matrix for a long time, we were confident that integrating MatrixStore with our VPMS EditMate solution would provide real value to our customers, helping them unlock the potential of their archives.”

VPMS EditMate delivers a toolkit for managing and editing projects in a streamlined, intuitive and highly efficient manner, all from within Adobe Premiere Pro. From project creation and collecting media, to the export and storage of edited material, users benefit from a series of features designed to simplify the spectrum of tasks involved in a modern and collaborative editing environment.

Nick Pearce-Tomenius, Sales and Marketing Director, Object Matrix, added: “Production management and creation collaboration are becoming increasingly complex to organise, especially with creative teams often geographically dispersed. The combination of VPMS EditMate and MatrixStore makes it possible for users to manage, find, browse, and edit content directly from the archive, from anywhere across the globe.”

Object Matrix and Arvato Systems will discuss this collaboration and how to unlock assets held in archives during a webinar on 11th December at 8am and 4pm GMT. For more information or to register, please visit https://object-matrix.com/object-matrix-arvato-systems-webinar/
