Orban announces new distributor for India

Mon 14, 06 2021

Ludwigsburg, Germany – After working together for over 22 years, we are terribly sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Surinder Gupta, owner of Harriban Broadcast, and Orban’s distributor for the Indian market. Besides our successful business cooperation we have also shared personal moments with Surinder at dinners and exhibitions and will surely miss him.

To ensure continued support and service for our customers in India, we have appointed the company Comcon Technologies Ltd. as our new distributor for the Optimod Audio Processors. Peter Lee, Orban’s Senior Vice President Global Sales, says: „Surinder’s passing was a shock to all of us. We have worked together for such a long time. But we also needed to make sure our customers in India have a local company that takes care of their needs so we got in contact with Comcon.” Mr. Gaurav Aggarwal, CEO of Comcon Technologies, adds “We are confident that Orban is the ideal partner to complement our portfolio with best-of-breed Audio Processing. Many broadcasters are already depending on Orban Audio Processors every day, and with our expertise in sales and technical support, we look forward to introducing many more to the power of modern Audio Processing. Our entire organization is very excited about this partnership.”
