The trends we discuss are: - Transition to Digital and HD Broadcasting - New Viewing Experiences (UHD and VR) - OTT and Multi-Platform Delivery - ATSC 3.0 The transitions to digital and HD broadcasting are mature trends in this region and do not represent significant spending drivers for vendors. The transitions to new viewing experiences, multi-platform delivery and ATSC 3.0 are instead now the principal spurs. Transition to Digital and HD Broadcasting In North America, the transition to digital broadcasting has almost reached maturity and therefore does not represent a significant driver of broadcast and media technology spending.
