We had the pleasure of having a chat with Julian Marshall, the Managing Director of Sine Audio. Julian’s journey with farmerswife began twelve years ago in a post production company in London. Now, as the Managing director of Sine Audio, Julian made the decision to also use farmerswife to efficiently manage the operations at their cutting-edge audio facility.
When I first started using farmerswife 12 years ago, I had previously relied on Xytech. While Xytech provided some functionality for scheduling and quoting/invoicing, it didn’t have the user-friendliness and adaptability we were looking for. We needed a comprehensive and flexible solution that could effectively handle all aspects of our business. Whether we wanted simplicity or in-depth reports, cost analysis, and forecasts, we were in search of a solution that could be tailored specifically to our unique needs. That’s when farmerswife came into the picture, and I’ve been using it across multiple companies ever since.
Sine Audio has been running for a year now and we started using farmerswife as soon as the company was established. farmerswife has proven to be an invaluable tool, empowering us to efficiently manage job assignments, create budgets, track expenses and invoices. Furthermore, we use farmerswife seamlessly to keep track of holidays, sick leave, and meetings. Our entire client database is stored in farmerswife’s contacts, giving us easy and quick access to that information. While we haven’t yet explored the dispatch module or media library, we are considering their implementation in the future.
