In May 2024, five Explore SE PTZ cameras were deployed to support the ‘Emergency Mission 2024’ organized by the National Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters of the Chinese government. Controlled via the Telycam V Joy+ Joystick, these cameras faced the challenge of capturing high-quality video over a vast area. Thanks to the Explore SE’s built-in SFP+ fiber optic connection, they transmitted 4K60 video over 10 kilometers, matching the quality of 12G-SDI. This ensured real-time, crystal-clear visuals with minimal latency, enabling the command center to make swift, informed decisions during critical moments.

In chaotic scenarios, such as a boat crash and fire, the Explore SE’s 30x optical zoom lens provided essential detail, allowing operators to monitor the fire’s spread closely. The camera’s preset functions facilitated quick transitions between wide shots and close-ups, ensuring the command center maintained optimal situational awareness for timely decision-making.
