Rohde & Schwarz brings advanced test and measurement expertise to DesignCon 2026
Rohde & Schwarz will showcase its latest test and measurement innovations at DesignCon 2026, taking place February 24–26 in Santa Clara, California, at booth #949. Visitors can take part in a full-day technical workshop, experience hands-on demonstrations of cutting-edge solutions, and enter a draw to win the new MXO 3 oscilloscope.
DesignCon is the leading conference for high-speed communications and system design, bringing together engineers focused on signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). Rohde & Schwarz’s 2026 program reflects its commitment to delivering practical expertise directly to the engineering community through education, interaction and access to advanced tools.
MXO 3 oscilloscope giveaway
As part of the event, Rohde & Schwarz will give away one MXO 3 oscilloscope. Attendees visiting booth #949 can register for the draw, with the winner announced on Thursday, February 26 at 11:00 AM. The MXO 3 features 12-bit ADC resolution, up to 4.5 million waveforms per second acquisition rate, and hardware-accelerated spectrum analysis.
“We believe that access to world-class test equipment empowers engineers to push the boundaries of innovation,” said Michael Schnecker, Digital T&M Technologist at Rohde & Schwarz. “The MXO 3 giveaway reflects our commitment to supporting the engineering community.”
Full-day technical workshop
On Wednesday, February 25, Rohde & Schwarz will host a free, full-day workshop featuring eight technical seminars led by experts from industry and academia. Sessions include advanced S-parameter analysis, quantitative probe selection for power integrity, and machine-learning-driven PDN design, alongside additional topics such as PCIe system design and VRM stability analysis.
Hands-on demonstrations at booth #949
Live demonstrations will highlight real-world applications of Rohde & Schwarz solutions, including:
-
Millimeter-wave PCB probing using the R&S ZNA with frequency extension for 5G, 6G and advanced packaging
-
IEEE 802.3dj compliance testing with a 48-channel VNA configuration for 200 Gb/s per lane Ethernet cables
-
Load step response testing for power integrity validation using the MXO 5 oscilloscope and Picotest load stepper technology
Rohde & Schwarz engineers will be available throughout the show to discuss specific SI, PI and EMC challenges.
“Are You a Genius?” interactive challenge
The popular “Are You a Genius?” challenge returns, allowing participants to test their EMI debugging and power rail probing skills using MXO 3 oscilloscopes, near-field probes and the R&S RT-ZPR20 power rail probe. All participants will receive an exclusive Rohde & Schwarz t-shirt.
Online access
For those unable to attend in person, all technical seminars will be available as webinars from April to June 2026, with video summaries of booth demonstrations released after the event.
Rohde & Schwarz will be exhibiting at booth #949 at the Santa Clara Convention Center from February 24–26, 2026. The full-day workshop takes place on Wednesday, February 25.
