Music brings people together and spreads joy, and sharing it beyond the concert hall has always been a dream. The annual Organic Closing Ceremony, held at the Armenia National Center of Chamber on December 6, 2025, brought this vision to life, featuring Armenian folk music on organ and piano with traditional melodies presented in contemporary arrangements.
This year’s ceremony aimed to reach a wider audience while preserving the live experience. Instead of a full on-site control room and director’s console, the team shifted to remote centralized production, requiring a reliable, high-quality, and low-latency solution to open new possibilities for sharing performances in real time.
Remote Multi-Camera Live: Challenges Without On-Site Control Room
The Organic Closing Ceremony was more than another annual concert, it was an opportunity to rethink live production. Without relying on traditional remote transmission solutions, the team encountered the following challenges:
- Reliability Risk in Multi-Camera Remote Transmission: Without an on-site production mixer, four camera feeds had to stream 10 km away in real time, where any instability could disrupt live streaming.
- Limited Bandwidth & Challenging Latency Management: With only a 100 Mbps connection, transmitting four HD feeds while maintaining image quality and low-latency switching presented a significant challenge.
- Monitoring and Operational Pressure: Fully remote production demanded continuous monitoring and reliable communication to detect and resolve unexpected issues instantly.
- Cost-Effectiveness Requirements: Modest in scale, the project required a cost-effective, flexible setup—no large switchers or on-site teams, but high-quality remote multi-camera production.
Facing all these hurdles without traditional on-site control, the team turned to Kiloview’s NDI-based solution, extending NDI beyond to deliver synchronized, low-latency multi-camera remote production.
Kiloview’s NDI Solution: Enabling Seamless Remote Production
Far from being just a matter of connectivity, remote live production requires delivering of control-room-level reliability and quality across networks. Kiloview’s NDI-based solution made this possible.
Equipment Used
- On-Site Capture & Output: Kiloview N6
- Intercom & Management: Intercom Server Pro
- Network: Netgear Switch
- Remote Production: vMix
Stable Multi-Camera Transmission over Public Networks
While NDI is typically designed for local networks, Kiloview N6 features built-in NDI Bridge to securely extend transmission over public internet, maintaining stream integrity and multi-camera synchronization even across long distances.
Efficient Bandwidth Use with Low-Latency Performance
Available with multiple NDI formats, Kiloview N6 kept each HD feed around 10 Mbps using NDI HX2 with H.265, preserving high-quality image while enabling smooth, real-time multi-camera switching over a 100 Mbps connection.
Seamless Team Coordination
Kiloview Intercom Server Pro enabled instant two-way communication for the remote team. Simply plug into the N6 via USB—quick setup, easy connection, and smooth collaboration throughout the live production.
Affordable and Scalable Remote Production
Kiloview N6 enabled full multi-camera remote transmission without large switchers or on-site crews. Compatible with the Kiloview ecosystem, it offered a cost-effective, scalable solution for future expansion.
NDI Breaks Boundaries: Bringing Live Music to Every Seat
The Organic Closing Ceremony set a new benchmark for remote multi-camera live production with NDI, delivering high-quality, synchronized coverage to audiences without a traditional on-site control room.
Kiloview’s NDI-based solution ensured seamless transmission, responsive switching, and reliable team coordination, proving that even modest-scale events can achieve professional-grade remote production.
