The BP40 Dynamic voice microphone provides natural sound reproduction for a variety of applications - radio, recording, post production ... thanks to its hypercardioid providing optimal isolation of the sound source and excellent off-axis rejection. The 37mm capsule with a patented "floating edges" design optimizes the surface of the membrane and maximizes performance, while the humbucking coil (for noise compensation) prevents the risk of electromagnetic interference (EMI) (generated by the video monitors, power supplies, etc). UNIQUE CONFIGURATION OF A LARGE COINCIDENT DIAPHRAGM CAPSULE

Unlike most X/Y stereo microphones where the capsules form a 90° stereo image, the BP4025 has ingenious arrangement of its large capsules for stereo more "realistic" 120° image. The two capsules are mounted back-to-back on the same electronic circuit.

This is a unique configuration of coincident large diaphragm capsules for impeccable sound quality and exceptionally low noise level. The audio reproduction - thanks to the excellent channel separation - is natural and powerful to give the listener the impression of being there when the audio was recorded.

Both microphones feature independent line-cardioid and figure-of-eight elements configured in an MS (Mid-Side) arrangement with switch-selectable internal matrixing. These innovative microphones allow sound recordists the choice of selecting a left-right stereo output (wide or narrow) via the microphone’s internal matrixing system or choosing discrete Mid-Side signals for later manipulation, a flexibility not available from any other manufacturer.

A switchable low frequency roll-off filter helps minimize the pickup of unwanted low frequency noise. These phantom-powered models feature a rugged lightweight design and sleek black color scheme, perfect for on-camera use.

This practical, state-of-the-art broadcast solution allows you to establish a truly immersive audio image that can be integrated easily as an audio channel bed into immersive audio codecs like MPEG-H 3D Audio without further processing.

The BP3600 consists of eight 3.5" (8.8 cm) long microphone assemblies that extend to form a cube, the capsules equidistant from the center and separated from one another by 15 cm. This eight-channel near-coincident array provides ample spaciousness and controlled separation not found in other all-in-one immersive audio microphones.
