Cobalt Digital’s SAPPHIRE Mini Converter Awarded Best of Show Award at ISE 2025
Barcelona, Spain – February 20, 2025 – Cobalt Digital has announced that its SAPPHIRE BBG-2110-4Ho/4Sio mini converter has won in this year’s Best of Show Awards at ISE 2025 in the AVTechnology category. The quad channel SMPTE ST 2110 – 20/22 baseband to HDMI / SDI converter made its global debut at ISE, which also marked Cobalt’s first time exhibiting at the world-renowned annual event for the systems integration and audiovisual industry.
The awards recognize the very best products and solutions on display at ISE 2025, with hundreds of products and solutions considered. All entries were reviewed by a panel of industry experts and editors. Factors taken into account include how diverse and comprehensive the product’s features are; how easy it is to use and how innovative and unique it is within the market.
The SAPPHIRE BBG-2110-4Ho/4Sio easily ticked all the boxes with its ability to address the need to display received baseband and JPEG-XS content on HDMI monitors in a simple and cost-effective way, including content originating from a WAN connection. The units are additions to Cobalt’s BBG family, a series of mini converters that can be mounted directly behind the monitor freeing up rack space. The SAPPHIRE BBG-2110-4Ho/4Sio includes quad SFP cages with four simultaneous HDMI and four simultaneous SDI outputs, support for 10G and 25G Ethernet ports, an additional 1Gb copper Ethernet port for out-of-band management, and SMPTE ST 2022 7 seamless switching.
