With the implementation of File eXchange Protocol (FXP), users can facilitate direct server-to-server file transfers across different File Transfer Protocol (FTP) servers, eliminating the involvement of a client system as an intermediary between two servers. By leveraging FXP, users can bypass the limitations of their local internet connections, improve transfer speeds and reduce system loads.
How Does FXP WorkFXP empowers users to transfer files directly from one server to another either within the same Internet Service Provider (ISP) or across different ISPs. When transferring files with FXP, the user starts the transfer on their computer and the remote server conducts the transfer, reducing the amount of time needed in the process. Users can also transfer files to multiple servers concurrently.
