Etere Radio-Live Supports Livewire+ Protocol

Thu 23, 11 2023

Etere Radio-Live supports Livewire+ Protocol, enhancing integration and control of Etere with other devices, including Sony Visca IP and NDI PTZ cameras. Etere empowers users to control their broadcast infrastructure within a single software seamlessly. This software update is free for all Etere users on a support contract.

Etere Radio-Live supports Livewire+ Protocol, providing revolutionary flexibility in managing the studio with a single software interface. Livewire+ offers flexible routing and transport of audio streams using multicast networking, which can connect any input to any output. The integration allows the Etere software to communicate with multiple devices using the Livewire Axia protocol. Multiple GPIO Livewire Axia signals can be configured concurrently in Radio Live Playout, Radio Live Director, Radio Live Cartwall and Radio Live Engine. This software update is free for all Etere users on a support contract.

Livewire is an audio-over-IP system created by Axia Audio, a division of The Telos Alliance. It serves to route and distribute broadcast-quality audio in radio stations.
