The IABM participated in this SMPTE Standards meeting round, held online via Teams.

The meeting round comprised project reports from each of the Technology Committees. The ones that are relevant to us are:

Metadata and Registers (30MR)

File Formats and Systems (31FS)

Network and Facilities Architecture (32NF) 

Media Systems, Control and Services (34CS)

Media Packaging and Interchange (35PM)

We have compiled

• an executive summary introducing new work just starting and a high-level view of project developments that we think are most relevant to members.
• a detailed report of progress on Standards projects that we believe will be of interest to members
