Crucial industry insights will inform MediaTech planning for 2025 and beyond
IABM’s Business Intelligence Unit has just published its ChainTracker™ report on the IABM Business Intelligence reports portal, MediaTech Vantage. The ChainTracker™ is the third and final annual MediaTech Tracker IABM produces; already published are the GeoTracker™ and TechTracker™.
The ChainTracker™ report provides a comprehensive analysis of business and technology trends in the broadcast media and entertainment market, using IABM’s BaM Content Chain® segmentation – Create, Produce, Manage, Publish, Monetize, Consume, Connect, Store and Support. The report is based on comprehensive primary research, both qualitative and qualitative, as well as extensive secondary research.
There is a Snap Insights section at the beginning of the report that focuses on trends across the entire content chain; this is followed by nine chapters, each one focusing on market trends in a specific segment of the content chain. Each of the chapters also includes insights that relate specifically to sector-led trends in sports, news, and studio production.
The report contains visual analysis of data from IABM’s biannual industry tracker survey of MediaTech professionals, reinforced by insightful quotes from analyst-led interviews with industry experts, as well as case studies that illustrate key trends identified.
Some key questions answered by the report:
- What are the key investment drivers and challenges in each content chain segment, and within the sports, news and studio sectors?
- How are business models evolving across different segments of the content chain?
- What factors are influencing technology innovation and investment in each content chain segment, and within the sports, news and studio sectors?
“The new ChainTracker™ report is designed to provide IABM members with a holistic view of what’s going on in and across every segment of the BaM Content Chain®, and also how these developments are playing out in the key verticals within MediaTech – sports, news, and studio production,” said Chris Evans, Head of Knowledge at IABM. “Bringing it all together in a single, comprehensive report will give IABM Platinum members one-stop access to crucial knowledge that can underpin successful technology and business decisions for 2025 and beyond.”
The ChainTracker™ report is available to IABM Platinum members as part of their annual subscription, and can also be purchased in full or on a chapter level basis by other parties as a single report license. Contact insight@theiabm.org for further information and enquiries.
