In the 2023 Nanshan Half Marathon, a state-of-the-art 4K+5G OB Van made its first appearance, seamlessly incorporating cutting-edge technology and equipment from numerous Shenzhen-based companies. This includes the car body Denza D9 from BYD, DJI’s Shadow 2 stabilizer, Shadow 4D camera, 8K drone, Zcam camera, Konvision monitor, and various other audio and video devices. As a renowned manufacturer of professional broadcast, Konvision Technology contributed to the OB Van by providing the 4K 12G display system solution.

The core purpose of the new marathon OB Van is to advance technological innovation and reciprocal promotion between sports broadcasting, contributing to the modernization of Shenzhen’s sports industry. This OB Van incorporates various advanced technologies, including UHD video technology and automatic focus technology based on computer vision and deep learning. It creatively employs an on-board electronic control track system, coupled with aerial drones, achieving multi-angle image capture to provide viewers with a more vivid and accurate visual experience, significantly enhancing the appeal of event broadcasts.

These monitors feature a 3840×2160 resolution IPS 10-bit LCD panel, wide color gamut, and full viewing angles. They support various HDR gamma curves such as PQ, HLG, and provide SDR to HDR image contrast functions. The monitors offer clear presentation of images captured in any natural environment, making them ideal for broadcasting to a wide audience. They are equipped with 2 channels of 12G-SDI video input and loop-out (backward compatible with 6G/3G/HD/SD-SDI), 2 channels of 3G/HD/SD-SDI video input, 2 loop-through outputs, 1 HDMI 2.0 input, and 1 SDI SFP+ fiber interface input, ensuring ample support for lossless transmission of various signals. Furthermore, Konvision monitors provide outstanding performance and unique advanced features such as quad split-screen display (supporting simultaneous display of different formats), waveform, vector scope, color space conversion, still frame viewing, dark detail viewing, making them an ideal choice for professional and high-quality 4K video broadcasting, shooting, and post-production applications.

In summary, this pioneering marathon OB Van, combined with Konvision’s advanced monitors, symbolizes a significant step forward in the integration of cutting-edge technology and sports broadcasting, promising audiences an unprecedented visual experience in live event coverage.
