iSIZE, a specialist in deep learning for video delivery, has joined the Google Cloud Partner Advantage Programme as a Build Partner. Being part of the Build Engagement Model means iSIZE can deliver solutions on Google Cloud, and serve organisations that are using it to deliver their video services.
As a Google Cloud partner, iSIZE can implement its advanced technologies, including BitSave and BitClear, as part of wider video infrastructures. This means customers can roll out these AI-powered solutions quickly, and deliver high-quality video experiences in the most efficient way possible, across any codec, to any device, going beyond what state-of-the-art video encoding and streaming can do today.
“Our partnership with Google Cloud will provide our clients the flexibility that cloud-based solutions offer and will maximise the value we deliver to customers that are using Google Cloud services,” explained Sergio Grce, CEO and founder of iSIZE. “Being a Google Cloud partner enables us to further support our customers to achieve the business benefits they seek.
”BitSave is a deep psychovisual pre-processor for high-quality video at lower bitrate, enabling video delivery on a global scale. It mimics key elements of the human vision system via a deep perceptual optimizer that requires no change in encoding, delivery or decoding devices, and doesn’t interfere with standards, offering up to 50% reduction in video bitrate.
BitClear provides AI-based denoising to remove encoding and generational artefacts from video without changing the content. Video content that has been through multiple generations can be revived to the maximum possible quality without affecting any of the artistic intent of the original creators.
“By bringing its iSIZE’s platform to Google Cloud’s globally trusted infrastructure, customers can gain access to solutions that advance the delivery of high-quality video experiences,” said Kip Schauer, Global Head of Media and Entertainment Partnership at Google Cloud. “We’re excited to welcome iSIZE to the Google Cloud ecosystem, and to support innovative video delivery.”
