Kira Baca Appointed Chief Revenue Officer for Newly Merged Fabric x Xytech Entity
[Los Angeles, September 6, 2024] – The newly combined entity of Fabric and Xytech Systems, currently known as Fabric x Xytech, is pleased to announce the appointment of Kira Baca as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). With over 25 years of experience in the Media & Entertainment (M&E) services and technology sector, Baca will play a pivotal role in driving revenue strategies and spearheading growth initiatives for the combined organization, which was formed through the recent merger of Fabric, a leader in media supply chain and metadata management, and Xytech Systems, a leader in media resource management.
The merger between Fabric and Xytech, announced in late August 2024, creates a comprehensive platform that meets the evolving needs of today’s data-driven media organizations. As CRO, Baca will oversee the integration of the companies’ sales strategies and customer engagement efforts, ensuring the new entity continues to deliver unparalleled value to its clients.
“Kira’s extensive experience and industry insight make her an invaluable addition to our leadership team,” said Rob Delf, CEO of Fabric. “Her proven track record in driving revenue growth and managing global operations will be instrumental as we work to redefine the standards of media resource and data management in the industry.”
Baca’s impressive career includes leadership roles at Technicolor Creative Services, Deluxe Digital Studios, and Rightsline, where she was instrumental in revenue growth and global expansion. Her most recent position was as Chief Revenue Officer at Atelier Creative Technologies. Throughout her career, she has managed global client accounts for major entertainment companies, orchestrated international mergers, and secured transformative distribution technology deals. She was appointed to the Board of Directors for Fabric in August 2023.
Reflecting on her new role, Baca said, “I am thrilled to join the new Fabric x Xytech entity at such a pivotal time in its growth. The merger presents a unique opportunity to redefine how media organizations manage, distribute, and monetize content. I look forward to leveraging my experience to help the company achieve its ambitious goals and continue to innovate within the M&E sector.”
