On Thursday 30 May Pixotope along with some of the world’s most important media and technology brands including Samsung, BytePlus, Aux Media, RED and Aputure will launch Asia Pac’s first ever Better Engagement, Create Anywhere networking event at Infinite Studio in Singapore.
Pixotope Vice President APAC Sales Andrew Tan explained: “We are at a critical time in the virtual production industry. There are many pain points and the whole reason and purpose for launching the Better Engagement, Create Anywhere event is to discuss what Pixotope and our industry partners can do differently to create better audience engagement.”Often when the industry talks about virtual production, especially during tradeshows, attendees usually just see solutions being setup showcasing a virtual studio with a green or blue stage, or XR with LED walls. This was an approach Pixotope and their partners wanted to change.
Tan continued, “We did not want to do the usual this time. Instead we wanted to get people together in a casual setting, integrate a networking session and then to create further value add in a showcase presentation during the session to address how we can get better engagement for clients by using the very latest in virtual production technology.”
As Tan explained, many people know what virtual production is but far fewer truly understand how it best applies and adds value to different industries.
He added, “Broadcasters for example, constantly want to find better ways to engage with their viewers, as do live sports, events, brands, corporations and more. The list is endless. Thus one of the objectives of this event is to show that virtual production is relevant to and for all of these organizations, industries and markets. Then we take that knowledge and during the networking sessions, spark and develop real-world and tangible ideas on how they can and will use virtual production to get better audience engagement.”
During the networking session, attendees can explore the main stage and also participate in Pixotope’s interactive video booth for real-life examples showing just what is possible in the worlds of virtual production, AR, VR and XR.
