The Versal HBM series features heterogeneous integration of fast memory, secure connectivity, and adaptive compute to eliminate processing and memory bottlenecks for memory-bound, compute-intensive workloads. It is built from the ground up to adapt to continually evolving algorithms, protocols, and data rates. Thanks to its memory bandwidth capabilities to support huge amounts of real-time pixel and packet processing, Versal HBM devices can be found at the heart of 8K LED wall processors, multichannel 4K networked video processors, cinema cameras, projectors, production switchers and more.

With the integration of HBM2e DRAM, the Versal HBM series delivers up to 6X more bandwidth at 65% lower power per bit vs. the Versal Premium series. Built on a production-proven Versal Premium adaptive SoC foundation, the Versal HBM series integrates an extensive set of networked, multi-terabit, power-optimized connectivity cores, and 112 Gb/s PAM4 transceivers to adapt to emerging network protocols and modules. While doubling the transceiver speed, the Versal HBM series secures every layer of the network infrastructure with built-in encryption engines. With the programmable network on chip (NoC), up to 2.2 Tb/s of on-chip connectivity alleviates routing congestion among architectural components. In addition, the Versal HBM series offers twice the logic density of the previous generation HBM solution to maximize performance for constantly evolving algorithms and protocols.

The Venue Player system is a compact, reliable, multiple output video server supporting up to eight full HD or two UHD outputs, all with up to sixteen channels of embedded audio. Multiple storage options allow for hours of playout of uncompressed YCbCr or RGB, 8, 10, or 12 bit video from a single 1RU package. The Venue Player system is unmatched in number of outputs, small size and storage capacity.

The Venue Player’s control application is the Venue Player GUI or browser based Venue Player Manager which can control video sequences in several ways. One or more units can be instructed to start playout based on system clock time (NTP synchronized) or an incoming LTC time code value. Play commands can be applied to one or several sequences at a time. Each unit has a direct user interface via keyboard & mouse, or full set up and playback control via networked device such as a tablet or laptop with web browser. Functions can also be accessed from a command line scripting interface or VDCP over IP.

Venue Players also come with 10G IP or 12G-SDI interfaces with multiple storage configurations.
