By locating the storage and streaming at the network operation center and running an RS-DVR client software at the subscriber site, operators can offer a full DVR service without the need of hardware upgrades at the subscriber.

Dynamic origin server

The origin server is a scale out media storage system that can also perform content transformation, and streaming. The origin ingests MPEG-TS CBR and ABR, and transforms them on-the-fly to RTSP and different OTT formats, thus eliminating the need to store multiple formats.

HDR-1 is a standalone H.264 USB recorder / player with redundant power system (UPS) that is portable and easy to use. It records high quality format video files (up to20 Mbps in MP4), which is ideal for capturing and archiving footage from worship seminars, corporate meetings, school announcements, lectures, or live concerts. It can also be used by broadcasters to create a web-optimized proxy recording.

Recorded files can be uploaded to YouTube or any website immediately after an event without needing to transcode, which makes it easy to share your content online. Front panel buttons make it easy to use. The record/pause feature allows users to record an event conveniently as a single file even if there is a break in proceedings.

"The HRS-30 is a portable recorder with an integrated 10.1"" monitor that can be used as a field recorder and also a playback system.

 

The HRS-30 records from both HD and SD video equipment via HD/SD-SDI and supports 1080i, 720p, 576i, 480i video formats, providing a choice of recording formats in MEPG-II Long-GOP or intra-frame (i-frame) with 4:2:2 colour sampling.

 

The recorded MXF/OP1A file format is compatible with a wide range of NLE and play out systems. Recorded files are stored to a removable caddy which is compatible with 2.5"" HDD & SSD drives."

Once you have completed your recording, simply eject the hard drive enclosure and use USB 2.0 to connect to a PC or MAC based NLE system. The USB port provides power to the unit. It’s perfect for use with laptops in the field. You can work directly from the removable drive, or copy video files to your NLE’s video drives."
