X-Pert Content Replicator is designed with automated content management in mind. Get the stock of your content on multiple local playout servers and make the content replication comfortably and safely.

Transfer your content safely

You can control the transfer process and eliminate broken replicated files. Thus, you will deliver a stable playout. We use real-time checks during the content replication, and if there is any problematic content, it wouldn’t be moved to all “healthy” files.

Keep your local servers clean

The application helps you organize your workflow and keep only the files you need on the local playout servers. In other words, you can use the available removal options to delete all unnecessary files on the local server(s). Of course, our product generates log files. You can use them anytime to find full information on each file transfer or content removal.

Transfer from multiple sources to multiple playout servers 

You can simply point to your source(s) and local server(s), and X-Pert Content Replicator will replicate your files. Moreover, you can add separate folders as different sources.

Automated transfer of recently added files

It can gather content from several sources automatically when new content is available at any of the remote locations. As follows, all your content will be up-to-date.

Playlist transfer

You have the option to transfer a playlist and all files included in it. Additionally, you are able to replicate your daily playlists for a specific number of days.

X-Pert List is an easy-to-use offline playlist editor, that helps you plan, create and schedule playlists for your automated broadcast playout system.

Unlimited playlist editing and scheduling

X-Pert List has all the features necessary for editing any playlist, no matter whether it is an ordinary playlist for manual load or a scheduled one for automated playback. You can facilitate your work with functions such as copy, paste, cut, search, etc. Metadata adding and editing per clip are also accessible if necessary.

Built-in powerful trimmer

A powerful clip trimmer is available to slip the clip or to adjust in and out points to play the desired part of the clip. And the good news is that there is no need for additional transcoding processes or transcoded files. It will leave your original content untouched and the playout will play only the defined by you parts.

On-air playlist editing

You can edit the playlist in real time without disturbing the broadcasting. Above all, you can easily switch to the next item when you are on-air. As a result, the playlist will be updated accordingly without any interruptions.

Third-party applications integration

X-Pert List supports the import of XML (Extensible Markup Language) playlists for traffic systems and other applications that generate a proper playlist. Apart from external applications, the application is fully integrated with X-Pert Compact MAM. As a result, the operators can enjoy a smooth transfer of applied metadata from the database.

Automatic gap generation

When fixed time is applied and there is a need to fill the gap between the clips, an automatic gap generation feature comes to your aid and helps you to create a playlist.

A huge variety of media formats and codecs supported

X-Pert Compact MAM

X-Pert Compact MAM is a highly integrated SQL-based media and content management database.

User-friendly interface 

Our application is a database for media and content management. It classifies your content using many indices, such as type, category, genres, keywords, credits, media, etc. Besides, the UI is compact and comfortable. It has only three sections: Tree View, Search Fields, and Data Grid.

  • The Tree View is not only a highly space-efficient solution but also gets everything in one space. You can view it with a single click.
  • The Search Fields section allows you to find whatever you need in all database content.
  • The Data Grid presents the list of entries. Here, you can find full details of each file at a glance.

Sometimes, more than one asset should be updated with a piece of information. In such cases, XCM provides multi-editing functionality. This feature allows you to edit data in several records simultaneously. In particular, you will be aware of the identical and various fields between the records in your database.

Export to MS Excel

This seamless integration with MS Excel allows you to export your records to the .*xls file. Moreover, you can create a template form in MS Excel to be filled in with records from X-Pert Compact MAM.

Templates

You can use this functionality to create new records. Furthermore, the templates option saves effort for entering uniform data in multiple records. Meanwhile, they are very useful for creating sequences that consist of many records with the same data.

Expired node

Each database requires strong maintenance. Notably, the deletion of data can be a real problem. Because of that, our application provides a unique expired node. You just have to decide how to proceed with these instances. For example, you may delete them or change their expiration dates.
