The M-COCO-2 colour corrector and legaliser is ideal for manipulating colours to correct for camera or lighting problems or to standardise pictures shot at different times.


The dual channel M-COCO-2 can be used with IP (ST 2022 and ST 2110 video), with SDI or with both IP and SDI at the same time for hybrid systems. This gives you the easiest possible SDI to IP upgrade, while also making it perfect for mixed SDI and IP installations as well as fully IP or fully SDI environments. It works with 31 different video standards, including 1080p.


The M-COCO-2's colour correction tools include RGB gain, RGB lift, YUV gain, YUV lift, Video gain, Chroma gain, Chroma hue and both overall and individual RGB Gamma adjustment - as well as Black Stretch and Highlight Stretch, which are particularly useful for correcting in shot picture monitors. The excellent legaliser uses RGB and Y/C clipping to create a legal and natural-looking picture.


Features making life easier include the ability to wipe horizontally or vertically between the processed and unprocessed signal for a ‘before’ and ‘after’ comparison and the ability to highlight pixels containing illegal signal values to help locate the problem. The inclusion of a built-in test pattern generator also makes for an easier workflow.


The M-COCO-2 is a software app that runs on the MARBLE-V1 media processor. A card that fits in the Vision 3 frame, MARBLE-V1 features a powerful CPU/GPU processor, six bi-directional SDI connections and four 10GbE SFP+ network interface ports and allows different apps to be installed when needs change.


Crystal Vision also offers a card-based SDI colour corrector in its Indigo frame system.
