MRMC Achieves its Second King’s Award for Enterprise

Thu 09, 05 2024

MRMC, a Nikon company, is honored to receive a prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category. Out of 252 organizations recognized, MRMC stands out for its excellence in international trade. This marks the second time the company has received this esteemed award, with the previous recognition occurring in 2017 under the Queen’s Award moniker. Founded in 1966 as Mark Roberts Film Services, MRMC has evolved into a leader in motion control, broadcast robotics solutions, automation, and volumetric capture.

With over 100 employees, MRMC has a rich history of innovation, from pioneering rostrum cameras for animation and TV to producing groundbreaking solutions like the Academy Award-winning Milo and the high-speed Bolt Cinebot range. Their latest creations, including the Cinebot Max and Studiobot XL, continue to push the boundaries of technology in film and TV production worldwide.

Assaff Rawner, CEO at MRMC, expressed gratitude for the recognition, stating, “It is truly a privilege that His Majesty The King has approved the Prime Minister’s recommendation of MRMC receiving a King’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category. We are honored to be a recipient for the second time and would like to extend a huge thanks to all of our international customers and partners, without whom this would not be possible.”

The King’s Awards for Enterprise, formerly known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, underwent a renaming last year to reflect His Majesty The King’s commitment to continuing the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II by honoring outstanding UK businesses. As the most prestigious business award in the country, successful businesses like MRMC will have the honor of using the esteemed King’s Awards Emblem for the next five years.
