Most importantly, it's a practical lighting tool that analyzes the light source using 11 different display modes on its 4.3" color touchscreen, indicating specifically what you need to do to achieve your desired effect. The meter's CMOS sensor enables measurement in increments as fine as 1nm and allows capture of color spikes in the light output - an especially valuable function when working with LED, HMI, fluorescent lighting, and mixed sources. Flash for example, can be color analyzed with selectable shutter speeds from 1-1/500 sec. Ambient light has a 1.0 to 200,000 lux range (0.09 to 18,600 fc). The intuitive color touchscreen offers access to the meter's many functions including a Spectrum graph, CRI, Camera Filter, Lighting Filter, White Balance Compensation, and comparison of multiple lights.

The Text mode screen displays color temperature, lux or fc as well as color compensation and light balancing filters. After selecting your preferred color balance, the Camera Filter and Lighting Filter Screens will display the actual Rosco, Lee, Kodak Wratten, or Fuji filter designations necessary to achieve your targeted color temperature. CRI also has a dedicated screen that displays standard color reference values (including R1 thru 15) as a percentage of the light source's ability to reproduce a color accurately, as compared to the Ra standard temperature. The Zao-SH is an H.265 HEVC encoder that can be used in a variety of video contribution scenarios. From broadcast applications, such as news gathering, to public safety, law enforcement and military applications, the Zao-SH can be utilized to send an encrypted live stream from a broadcast or surveillance camera, drone, vehicle, body cam or helicopter.

Together with users, the MagNum wireless FIZ Lens Control System (LCS) was ergonomically and functionally optimized. It is availabe in three versions: the basic model with one motor channel (MN-101), a two-motor channel version with a Zoom Rocker (MN-ZR) upgrade option for the hand unit (MN-150), and a fully equipped 2-motor channel version (MN-200). Extension modules expand MN-150 or MN-200 receiver with a maximum of two other motor channels, and enhanced broadcast capabilities.

The LCS consists of two parts:

Ergonomical designed hand unit

The hand units MN-150T and MN-200T each offer a handwheel with two variable mechanical stops (VariLock II), infinitely adjustable fluid damping (VariFluid), mechanical locking device and the optional inclusion of scale discs or rings. The standard delivery scope contains a large scale ring. The MN-200T hand unit additionally offers a contact-less, dust-proof slider bar with variable mechanical stops.

The optional belt Holster (MN-HOL) attaches the Hand unit securely to you belt. This means the Focus assistant can safely perform without getting stuck or swinging off of the hand unit and the hand unit itself is close at hand.

Upgradable receiver

The MagNum Extension Module Motor and Lens Port (MN-EXT-MOT-LP) offers up to 3-motor channels and a camera lens port interface for universal use in Cine and Broadcast applications. The Extension Module Motor (AL2-EXT-MOT) upgrades the MN-200R on up to 4 motor channels, for 3D or special application users.

Weighing in at just 253g and measuring 111 x 71 x 25mm, the transmitter provides an HD-SDI Loop along with HDMI inputs and can broadcast to an unlimited number of Atom and Atom Lite receivers.

The Atom is designed to operates out of the box with minimal configuration and with real-time channel selection over the 5GHz licence exempt spectrum.
