SNMP Monitoring & Control
Horizons allows for inter-facility control and can be multiplexed using CWDM, or used over extreme distances with DWDM. It can also be used with optical fibre to extend existing Ethernet networks from point-to-point (e.g. from a control room to the antenna in a satellite earth station) and optionally from point-to-multipoint.
ViaLite‘s Horizons SNMP Software can be used with existing ViaLite SNMP cards.

ViaLite Horizons GUI
Horizons is standalone software that operates on legacy SNMP product and comes built into the new SNMP Controller card.
The GUI offers a representation of ViaLiteHD modules in a connected rack chassis (3U or 1U) or the Satcom6 enclosure. It displays the operational status of the modules and power supplies, along with the voltage and temperature of the SNMP card. The built-in interface can be accessed from any standard web browser using the IP address of the SNMP network monitoring card.
Simple install
The SNMP Controller allows any user to quickly setup local and remote ViaLiteHD equipment by accessing the front panel LAN port on the card. Under normal operational conditions, the card can be permanently connected to the user’s network and the health of the ViaLiteHD system can be monitored at any time.
Management information base (MIB) tables
The open architecture of the SNMP Controller’s MIB allows management of the alarm information using any SNMP-compatible third party network management system (NMS), when connected via the local area network (LAN). The MIB is common to all ViaLiteHD SNMP products.
Summary Alarm Monitoring cards for in-rack alarms
In addition to the SNMP card which can be used for alarm monitoring via a GUI, ViaLite‘s Summary Alarm Monitoring cards can be used within rack chassis to monitor the rest of the fitted equipment. These cards are able to report alarms by front panel visual indicators, audio alarms and by the status of the card’s on-board relays – which can be used to trigger the customer’s alarm monitoring equipment.
On start-up, the Summary Alarm Monitoring card analyzes the active, populated slots within the chassis to allow for the empty slots to be ignored.
The cards monitor all chassis alarm outputs, or DIP switches are available for manual alarm screening if preferred.

IP Virtual Card
Besides the well-known VideoMaster SDK dealing with the DELTACAST I/O cards and FLEX products, the DELTACAST portfolio now includes a new SDK (Software Development Kit) component called the IP Virtual Card, offering a new programming interface named VideoMaster IP.
The IP Virtual Card is a new video and multimedia programming interface allowing the use of 3rd-party computer network cards to capture and stream out video just like you are used to do over any DELTACAST card.
Designed from the ground up to allow high-performances multimedia capture and streaming using an off-the-shelf network card, the first version ofthe IP Virtual Card targets ST2110 connectivity.
The IP Virtual Card brings in support for video transport as per ST2110-20, audio transport as per ST2110-30, and ancillary data transport as per ST2110-40. It also includes a PTP synchronization solution compliant to ST2059-1. Thanks to an optimized network stack, the IP Virtual Card insures accurate, PTP locked, media streams compliant to ST2110-21 Type W senders, and it allows implementing ST2110-21 Type A receivers.
The IP Virtual Card implements an optimized network stack based on the operating system sockets, so that it is compatible with any NIC brand and model, and so that it can be used under Windows and Linux, and also targetting virtualization environments and execution in containers. The sectional dynamic tone mapping technique is applied to several spatial areas (sectors) in the image. In this type of tone mapping technique, the algorithm adjusts the signal by using several dynamic curves, one per image segment/sector. The algorithm then combines the result with global dynamic curves based on the entire image. While the dynamic curves of the different sectors are perfectly adapted to the respective image content of their segments, the global curve is perfectly adapted to the content of the entire image. Depending on the image content within these sectors, the algorithm reacts dynamically, which allows lights and shadows to be treated independently. Therefore, dark areas can be brightened, and the bright areas can be darkened without getting a flat gradation of the image. “
HDR EVIE+ provides a 1x 4K/UHD processing channel supporting down-conversion from HDR transfer characteristics to SDR through appropriate sectional dynamic tone mapping. It also supports the Wide Color Gamut (WCG) needs of broadcasters and professional AV live events requirements. Outdoor Enclosures – ODE-MINI
The new ViaLiteHD ODE-MINI is a compact and versatile outdoor enclosure with a good deal of features for its size. It can house one or two Blue or Yellow OEM Links, which can be any ViaLite RF band to 4.2 GHz, or a C-Band Link up to 7.5 GHz.

Dual Channel Electrical to Optical Transmitter 12G-SDI, 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI The BC365T is a transmitter card for the conversion of two independent 12G-SDI signals into fibre optical cable. Each incoming signal is auto-sensed and then equalised prior to conversion and transmission down a separate single optical fibre. All Bluebell cards are designed to retain maximum integrity of the signal path offering excellent jitter free optical transport. Each channel can operate in non-reclocking mode and handles data rates from 50 Mb/s to 12 Gb/s. The BC363 occupies a single slot in the BC100i 3RU 19″ rack-mounting frame which can hold up to 15 single slot cards. The compact BC160i 1RU is available for up to six cards. Signal and card monitoring is achieved through SNMP monitoring in the BM102i network card, or through the BM102i network monitoring webpages.
