TVU MLink incorporates TVU’s proven, award-winning, and advanced IP cellular video transmission technology into a rack-mount unit. Designed for use in satellite and microwave vehicles and studios, MLink uses the H.265 compression standard together with TVU’s proprietary Inverse StatMux Plus transmission algorithm for reliable video transmission that requires less data and overhead with lower operating cost. MLink is capable of aggregating the transmission signals from multiple transmission mediums simultaneously, including cellular, satellite, microwave, WiFi and Ethernet.
When using MLink that’s integrated into a satellite or microwave truck or van, there is no need to stop a live video feed when switching from cellular to satellite or microwave transmission and vice versa.
